Every year, PGL sponsors delegations that travel to Nicaragua to experience the people, the history, the land and our programs. Through the office in León, PGL arranges the schedule and content of the visit in Nicaragua. Visits usually last 7-10 days.

Common to these delegations are visits to project sites, including health clinics, coffee cooperatives, and other micro-enterprises. Often the visitors participate in home stays with Nicaraguan families, where they can experience the warmth and hospitality of the Nicaraguan people, usually the highlight of the delegation experience.

Each year, in January and March, two student groups from Gettysburg College participate in delegations to Nicaragua. PGL also sponsors delegations designed for any interested community members.
