Colegio Salzburgo Project:

Your sponsorship will help pay the salaries of two English teachers at the primary school, Colegio Salzburgo. English as a Second Language (ESL) is vitally important for the roughly 300 pupils grades 1-6, but a school like Colegio Salzburgo does not have the resources to offer English in its curriculum. Your sponsorship makes this possible. Colegio Salzburgo is in a low-income neighborhood and presently students do not receive this type of instruction.  ESL classes are vital in Nicaragua for the potential educational development of these children.  English is the language of medicine, sciences, engineering, and tourism.  The opportunity to learn to speak English, starting at a young age, is not just about learning a foreign language, it is about the doors it can open for the future of these children.
