PGL Fiesta and Auction

 

“Plan Your Bidding Strategy – Review the Auction Booklet Now!

Exciting plans are already underway for the annual “PGL Fiesta & Auction“ to be held Saturday, January 24 in the Gettysburg College Hauser Fieldhouse from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. 
Tickets will be $30 until January 12th and $35 thereafter, and tickets can be purchased for a table for ten.

Upon entering the fieldhouse on Saturday attendees can tour the silent auction tables and at their convenience pick up their buffet dinner. Attendees can sign up in advance for child care (ages 5-10).
People are encouraged to offer quality items for the auction, which will feature both the live auction and the silent auction tables.

Las Marías Water Project

Project Gettysburg León is hoping to support a small but vital new potable water project in the rural community of Las Marías.  $7,000 is needed for a pump and storage system that would improve the quantity and quality of available drinking water for 284 families or approximately 1,400 people.  The community itself would purchase the water pump needed for this improvement and would provide the labor for the project.  PGL’s funds would be for a water tank and tower, PVC pipe to connect into an existing supply system and fencing to protect the pump and tower.  The community has its own water board and a plan in place to maintain the new system once completed.  We ask for your support with this project and we send a thank you from the community.
